This morning, while walking up Walmer Road here in Toronto's beautiful "Annex" neighbourhood after getting a Tim Hortons coffee, something caught my peripheral vision: milk crate planters... lots of them... rows of them.
Seedlings are beginning to sprout at the east end of Walmer Road Baptist Church.
It's a beautiful day here in the city: warm in the sun; cool in the shade; with much greenery.
Those crates will soon harbour a sea of green.
