Quote: Spock and Kirk On Our Place Whatever

"Each of us, at some time in our life, turns to someone — a father, a brother, a god — and asks, 'Why am I here? What was I meant to be?'"

"Is this all that I am? Is there nothing more?"

In the Spock line, the last sentence is: "V’Ger hopes to touch its Creator to find its answers." I removed it as it breaks the overall idea... it's integral to the film, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, but it's not necessary here.

This quote hit me immediately after I had a brief discussion with a gent yesterday. I asked, "How's life?", to which he responded with, "Crappy". He clarified, of course, but I felt one of those "Life" moments.

Is there nothing more?....
