Beyond the Wall - A History of East Germany was released a few months ago in Europe, but it hit our shores two days ago, on September 5th.
This history nut, certainly one from the bowl fascinated by the former Eastern Bloc countries, such as East Germany, is bumping two books already lined up in the queue in the name of digging into this title.
Author Katja Hoyer was born in former East Germany in 1985, so she was well-equipped to tackle such a book.
