On Sunday I wrote about my sense of humour and how it was more than probably passed down, in whole or in part, to me by my father. As that post spoke of a potential haunting, I kept it in line somewhat with a Halloween theme.
Well, folks, the curtain of long-term deception is finally being lifted! My dad did make that rather 'unsupportive' comment about me, to me, but I must mention one of his other most memorable barbs thrown my way during my youth, one perhaps even more on point....
Dad: Simon.
Me: Yeah.
Dad: Is that 'ring around the collar' you have there, or are you just down a quart?
Thanks, dad. And thanks, dad!
