In other Shatner-related news, Grindhouse Releasing is putting out the classic Impulse. It's never been available (legally) on DVD or Blu-ray, but they've restored it, so it's well worth the wait! I have the old Vestron VHS of it. One time I loaned it Deeming, when he was doing his Shatnerfest screening in London. Afterwards, he asked me if I wanted the tape back. Well, duh! LOL

The bottom photo I selected as it was William Shatner's first appearance as Captain James "R" Kirk (the second pilot, "Where No Man Has Gone Before").
Leonard Nimoy was right when he said that "Jeff" Hunter was a fine actor, but when Shatner came on board, the whole thing came to life.
Captain James "R" Kirk? Did the character's middle initial change at some point?
Yeah, when the show went to series production Roddenberry settled on "Tiberius" as Kirk's middle name.

That's great news. Thanks!
Too many VHS tapes are proving to be precious, as you know.
