This mission was exciting stuff... then, and now when reading about it.Borman, Lovell, and Anders were bright stars.Originally, Apollo 8 was planned as an Earth-orbit mission. Then the decision was made to go "all up".It was the space race!
Rather disingenuous to call this a "mission to another world"."How was your trip to Hawaii? Did you go up to the observatories on the mountain?""No, the cruise ship just circled around the islands about 40 times, then we went home."
It's a little more complicated than travelling around some islands in a boat.Perhaps the publisher could have used "body". Best part, it's an absorbing book.
