My high school's library had a good range of books on 'motion pictures'. It was at about that time that I took a real interest in the art and production of films and television.
I remembered Young Filmmakers well, and the time I spent poring over its pages. It was geared for young people, as one can imagine from the title, and a fourteen-year-old me fit the target market to a t-stop.
Cut to many years later.
A year or two ago, I decided to do an internet search and came across a listing for the original hardcover from 1969. For whatever reason, I did not book the book right then and there.
Then two weeks ago I took another look online and bought Young Filmmakers, the paperback, the very printing my high school library had on its voluminous book list.
