Roger Corman's Political Leanings
I'm currently in the process of re-reading Beverly Gray's insightful book Roger Corman - An Unauthorized Biography of the Godfather of Indie Filmmaking (2000). It was a pleasure reading it the first time around. Last night I came across this little passage discussing Corman's politics:

I read a bio on him years ago. Still stunned at how he could go from idea to finished product. Sometimes just 3 days!
"How I Made a Hundred Movies in Hollywood and Never Lost a Dime" is recommended reading.
The Little Shop of Horrors was shot in a few days. That is the example cited when discussing Corman's efficiency.
